Bengaluru, 2nd August 2024: The 57th Annual General Body Meeting of the Konkan Catholic Association®️ (KCA) Mathikere was convened on 21st July 2024 at Konkan Bhavan, Mathikere, Bengaluru. This significant gathering was marked by reflections on the association’s achievements, the honoring of its members, and the strengthening of community bonds.

The day began with a solemn Holy Mass celebrated by Fr. Prem Cutinha. His sermon resonated deeply with the audience, setting a reflective tone for the day's proceedings. Edwin Lobo, President of KCA Mathikere, extended a warm welcome to the esteemed association members, their families, and the Chief Guest, Robert Cutinha, Chairman of FKCA.

The official proceedings commenced with the reading of the annual report by Elias Fernandes, Secretary of KCA. The report highlighted the association’s activities and achievements over the past year. Following this, Sangeeth Rego, Treasurer of KCA, presented the balance sheet for the year 2023-24, which was duly approved by the members present. Chief Guest Robert Cutinha expressed his appreciation for the association’s continuous support to FKCA.

The event also recognized those who attained distinction in their respective academic fields. The culinary experience at the AGM was a feast provided by Reliable Caterers, featuring a delightful array of Mangalorean cuisine that served as a nostalgic reminder of traditional flavors and culinary excellence.
