As part of its Lenten mission, FKCA undertook weekly visits to various orphanages and homes for the less privileged throughout Lent. These visits included sponsoring and sharing lunch with the residents, and spending meaningful time together.
On Sunday, March 9th, the team visited Mother Theresa Charitable Trust, Avalahalli, where they spent time with children. FKCA generously sponsored lunch for both the children and the visiting members.
The visit was filled with joy as the children showcased their talents through singing and dancing, leaving a lasting impression on everyone present. FKCA immediate Past Chairman Silvian Noronha and members from Indiranagar Konkani Kutam and MKCK Hennur were a part of the visit.

On Sunday, March 16th, the team visited Jeevitha Ashram in TC Palya, spending a warm and memorable afternoon with the children. As part of their ongoing Lenten outreach, FKCA generously sponsored lunch for both the children and the visiting members.
The atmosphere was filled with joy and energy as the children delighted everyone with their vibrant singing and dancing performances, creating lasting memories for all in attendance. FKCA immediate Past Chairman Silvian Noronha, Past Chairman Anand Edward D’Souza and members from Indiranagar Konkani Kutam and MKCK Hennur were a part of the visit.
Members of the Konkani Catholic Sangh and Konkani Catholic Association Mattikere, along with other FKCA representatives, visited Mother Theresa Home in MS Palya as part of the ongoing Lenten mission.
During the visit, lunch was generously sponsored for approximately 75 residents and 10 Sisters who lovingly care for them, creating a meaningful and compassionate experience for all involved.
The team visited Happy Homes in KGF, where they spent a heartfelt and memorable afternoon with the children. FKCA graciously sponsored lunch for both the children and the visiting members, strengthening the spirit of togetherness.

The team visited the Leprosy Rehabilitation Training Center in Summanahalli, spending a meaningful and touching afternoon with the residents. FKCA kindly sponsored lunch for both the inmates and the visiting members, nurturing a spirit of compassion, connection, and community.
Sezari Bommanahalli visited the old aged (destitutes) at SD convent (Karunalaya) run by the SD convent sisters on 12th April and also donated some grocery items and contributed financially to one school and to the convent separately.
Konkani Samudai Jayanagar visited Aaraike Destitute Orphanage, Kengeri and handed over the contribution to Ranjith Shetty who runs the destitute. Mr Shetty expressed gratitude to all involved in this kind gesture.
Core committee members of FKCA, along with representatives from MKCK Hennur, Indiranagar Konkani Kutam, Konkani Catholic Association Mattikere, Konkani Catholic Sangh Yeshwanthpur, KONCAB, Sezari Bommanahalli, and KCWA RT Nagar, actively participated in the visits held on various dates.
