On the 3rd of March, 2024, the grounds of St Vincent Palloti Church in Banaswadi were alive with the spirit of renewal and reflection as the parish hosted a Lenten retreat organized by St Vincent Palloti Konkani Kutamb. Led by the esteemed Rev. Fr. Nelson Pinto, OCD, the retreat proved to be a transformative experience for over 200 participants who gathered in search of spiritual enrichment..
The retreat, held in the Hall of St Vincent Palloti Church, commenced with a solemn Holy Mass at 11:30 am on Sunday, setting the tone for a day dedicated to prayer, contemplation, and fellowship. Preceding the retreat, a period of adoration took place on Saturday, the 2nd of March, from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm, allowing attendees to prepare their hearts and minds for the journey ahead.
Throughout the day, Fr. Nelson Pinto guided participants through thought-provoking talks and sessions designed to deepen their understanding of the Lenten season.
