Workshop for 2nd PUC students

The Federation of Konkani Catholic Associations (FKCA), in partnership with the Karnataka Regional Commission for Education (KRCE), hosted a career awareness workshop for second-year Science students from Bangalore. The initiative aimed to equip students with insights into diverse professional pathways and future career opportunities, especially medical, para-medical and engineering streams.

Held at the Regional Pastoral Centre (KROSS), the programme was led by Rev. Dr. Francis Assisi Almeida, Secretary of KRCE and Spiritual Director of FKCA. The training sessions were facilitated by Rev. Fr. Ajith Menezes, Associate Director of St. John’s Medical Hospital and Administrator of St. John’s Medical College, who guided careers in medicine and allied health sciences. He was supported by Mr. Roshan Noronha, Head of Human Resources at St. John’s Medical College.

Drawing from his prior leadership roles at St. Joseph’s Engineering College, Fr. Ajith also offered valuable direction to students exploring engineering disciplines. The workshop was well-attended by students and their parents, who found the sessions enriching and informative.

The FKCA Executive Committee extends its sincere appreciation to the KRCE team for their dedicated efforts in organizing such impactful career guidance programmes for our youth.
