November 1st, 2021, was a very special day for Konkani Catholic Sangh, Yeshwanthpur, Bangalore. It was the 50th anniversary of the association. The KCS, Yeshwanthpur was formed on 1-11-1971.

On Monday, 1-11-2021, all the members of KCS took part in the Thanks giving mass, celebrated by Rev.Fr.Sunil Monis and Rev.Fr.Sunil Dsouza, at 10 AM, at Christ The King Church, Yeshwanthpur, Bangalore. After the Holy mass, there was a felicitation program for the students passing 10th, 12th and graduation/post-graduation courses with high merit. 27 students were felicitated. Then, the secretary, Mr. Robert Cutinha briefed about the history of KCS and all the activities of the association for the past 50 years.

some of the elders and previous presidents of the association were present on that day. As a gesture of our gratitude for their dedicated service to KCS, Yeshwanthpur, three ex-Presidents Mr. Lullus Cutinha, Mr.Baptist Fernandes, Mr.Vincent Mendonsa and the current president Mr.George Mascarhenhas; and three senior members Mrs. Irene Rego, Mr.Paul Pinto and Mr.Clement D’souza were felicitated while the secretary shared to the audience about memorable events associated with each one of them. It was a heartwarming moment of the day.

After the felicitation ceremony, all gathered out in the premises for cutting the Golden Jubilee cake. Mr George Mascarenhas President welcome the gathering. Secretory Robert Cutinha conveyed Vote of thanks for all. Mr Kiran D'Souza M C of the function. Function ended with High Tea.
