Advent, a sacred season marked by the anticipatory waiting and preparation for the celebration of the Nativity of our Lord Jesus Christ, was warmly embraced by the Bangalore Konkani Catholic Sangh, Koramangala. Spearheaded by Mr. Sunil Cutinho, the community organized a profound and spiritually enriching retreat in English on deliverance and healing. This special event, held under the auspices of BRC (BCCRS), unfolded on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at St. Anthony's Friary Church in Madiwala, Bangalore, with the unwavering support of their Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Prasanth Fernandes, OFM.

Guided by the insightful leadership of the 'Bread of Life' group and featuring the renowned preacher Br. David Manjaly from Trisshur, Kerala, the retreat served as a beacon of spiritual awakening. Through divinely inspired prayers, words, and compelling examples, Br. David Manjaly facilitated healing and deliverance, creating a transformative atmosphere.

The day commenced with the reverent recital of the Holy Rosary, followed by uplifting sessions of praise and worship, confessions, adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, and a solemn Holy Mass. The melodious strains of sacred songs heightened the spiritual experience, inspiring all to lift their voices in praise and glory to God.

The retreat drew a substantial gathering, and its impact was evident as individuals shared heart-touching testimonies of physical healing and liberation from various bondages. The miraculous occurrences left the congregation in awe of the Glory and Presence of Our Lord.

Amidst the spiritually charged atmosphere, refreshments and lunch were graciously provided to all attendees. The retreat concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by BKCS President Aida Dcunha. The overarching sentiment of the day was one of peace, joy, and happiness, leaving each participant with a profound sense of spiritual revival.
