Bengaluru 20th Dec 2023: It is Christmas season and KCS (Konkani Catholic Sangh) Yeshwanthpur and KCA (Konkan Catholic Association) Mathikere celebrated Christmas Dabazo with great fervor and zeal on 16th December 2023 at the St. Peter’s Seminary ground in Malleshwaram, Bangalore.

Mr. Kiran D’Souza and Mr. Jivan D’Souza were the hosts of the program. With their youthful charm and gusto they engaged the audience for more than 4 hours. The program began with a prayer by Mr. George Mascarenhas followed by a welcome dance. President of KCS Mr. Robert Cutinha welcomed the gathering. Past chairmen of FKCA Mr. Sylvian Noronha, Mr. Edward D’Souza and Mr. Charles Gomes graced the occasion.

Santa Claus, embodied by Sunil Tauro, brought joy to the children with festive songs and distributed chocolates. Mesmerizing dance performances and carol singing programs and the live band “Dream Tones’” by Rego family brought the Christmas spirit alive. Beautiful Christmas carols were sung by different groups. The music by “Dream Tones”, from slow melody to the foot tapping Konkani baila numbers turned the evening into a magical night.

Spot games that were conducted involved the whole gathering and everyone enjoyed. Overall the event brought out the Christmas vibe to the fore. President of KCA Mr. Edwin Lobo gave vote of thanks. Lastly everyone had a sumptuous Mangalorean dinner and parted with Christmas wishes.
